A Lively September 2023 Dinner Gathering at Jose's Bar and Grill

September 2023 ushered in an evening of delight as we came together for a dinner at Jose's Bar and Grill. Joined by a group of artists and friends, including Gulnaz Turdalieva, Olga Klekner with Roland Klekner, Lupita Amaya, Leona MacIntyre, Carole Turner, Laurel Storey with her husband Jeff, and Maryam Safarzadeh with Saeid Angadji, we indulged in delectable cuisine while basking in the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant.

Jose's Bar and Grill, known for its spacious interiors and joyful ambiance, was a fitting choice for our gathering. However, as is often the case, every event teaches us valuable lessons. In this instance, we realized that reserving a private dining area would have been a more ideal decision. Our proximity to the bar, while adding liveliness to the evening, also introduced an unwelcome element of noise to our conversations. Though a vibrant setting for smaller groups, it posed a challenge for our larger gathering, making extensive group discussions a bit of a hurdle. Nonetheless, the delicious food undeniably contributed to the overall positive experience.

Despite the acoustic challenges, Jose's Bar and Grill has earned a place on our list of preferred venues for connecting with friends and family. This particular gathering held a special significance as we are taking a brief hiatus from social gatherings until December 2023.

The event was timely, coming right after the release of the Fall 2023 issue of Art Create Learn Magazine, which is centered around the theme of the environment and art. The issue features an array of intriguing articles, including two enlightening pieces by Niharika Bandaru and Anna Karch from Windsor of Change. They had the unique opportunity to interview two of our featured artists, the abstract collage artist Julie A Bell and the pottery artist Gisele Bick.

Our latest issue also showcases Deborah Kloos, a multi-talented and exceptionally passionate addition to our roster of listed artists. While the digital version is readily available as an interactive PDF, accessible on all devices through our online shop, we've also made a limited number of print copies available, all produced on demand. For those who relish the tactile experience of a physical copy, these are printed by a reputable Canadian online printing company known for its commitment to environmentally friendly, sustainable paper. We're even exploring the possibility of a second print run. If you'd like to be among the first to know, please send us an email at info@artcreatelearn.com.

As we fondly recall the enjoyment of this gathering, we're thrilled to share that our website is currently undergoing a transformation. Stay tuned for exciting developments on the horizon. Our journey is ongoing, and we eagerly anticipate sharing more creative moments and insights with you.
