Artist Spotlight – Dennis K. Smith
Bringing Art to Life Through Movement & Music
At Art Create Learn, we love showcasing artists who bring something unique to the canvas. This month, we are featuring Dennis K. Smith, a Windsor-based painter, printmaker, and sculptor whose work is deeply inspired by music, storytelling, and movement.
Featured Artwork: Three Ballerinas
📏 Size: 20” x 28”
🖌 Medium: Acrylic on gallery canvas
In Three Ballerinas, Smith captures the energy and rhythm of dance through his signature brushstrokes and bold colour choices. Music plays a key role in his creative process, and this piece is a perfect example of how art and music intertwine to evoke emotion.
"If art is a visual language and music the voice of the soul, then my canvas shall be the platform upon which I’ll sing." – Dennis K. Smith
