Yesterday, several of Art Create Learn artists joined me and my copy editor Carole Turner for a spontaneous dinner gathering to discuss the Art Create Learn project. I want to sincerely thank Nora, Katrina, Lupita, and Bruce for joining me, along with my copyeditor, Cat. Bruce, your photography is amazing! We had a great chat and I received valuable feedback. Right now, I'm figuring out how to balance all my art projects, including Art Create Learn.

Last spring, I started Art Create Learn Magazine with the aim of showcasing local artists through a print and digital publication released four times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). Thanks to the incredible support of my family, friends, artists, writers, and supporters, as well as the invaluable assistance of my copyeditor, Carole Turner, we successfully self-published five issues, including the recent Summer 2023 edition (you can find the digital copy here). It has been an amazing journey of learning and creativity. However, I now recognize the significant amount of work involved, especially since the project does not yet generate income.

To better manage my time and not compromise my other art projects, I have decided to scale back a bit. Instead of quarterly releases, I am considering publishing two issues per year: Spring and Fall. This adjustment will give me more time to dedicate to the magazine without overwhelming myself. In the meantime, I will continue sending monthly email newsletters featuring upcoming events from the artists we showcase. If you're interested in receiving these newsletters, please sign up here. We are also currently working on enhancing the magazine experience by constructing our website.

As we implement these changes, I am revamping our online platform to better serve artists and create a more captivating website. Your feedback and suggestions are crucial! I would love to hear what you, as a reader, hope to find in this art magazine. Share your interests and ideas by using the contact form here.

Despite the changing publication schedule, I am committed to keeping you connected and informed. Our monthly newsletters will continue to provide updates on events and achievements. We strive to maintain an interactive relationship with you, even as we adapt to new circumstances.

The journey of Art Create Learn Magazine has been incredible, thanks to the support of many. As we move forward, I am filled with excitement for the future. By adjusting our publication frequency, improving our online platform, and seeking your input, our goal is to create a vibrant and inspiring art magazine. Join me in this next chapter by sharing your thoughts and passion for the arts.

Thank you for being a part of this remarkable journey.
