Vivian Klinck
Since the day I first touched an oil painting, I was drawn to the medium as a fly to a flame. My memory of that touch stays with me to this day which creates the energy to create my kind of art.
I was educated at Michigan State University where I received a major in business and a minor in fine art. I have been painting for most of my life, but have developed my own style in the last 25 years. As of this writing, I have created over 550 pieces. My art is carried at such galleries as “Art At the River” located in Ontario Canada and “Plumtree” located on the outskirts of Detroit Michigan. In addition to the galleries that have carried my paintings, I have received awards at Gold Rush Days and have shown my art at many Arizona art exhibitions. I am a juried member of the Wickenburg Art Club, and the Arizona Art Alliance. I spend my winters in Arizona and my summers in Ontario and never lack for subject matter to help me develop my continued interest as an artist. I am a colourist at heart and include portraits, still life and landscape in my inventory.
I hope that some future artist will run their hands over one of my paintings and feel the excitement that so inspired me at a young age.
