Rosalyn Raymont - Abstract Artist

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, I've always been driven by creativity. My journey started with a diploma in Commercial Art from St. Clair College, and I've spent my career in graphic design, specializing in winery marketing and branding. Now, I'm fully immersed in the world of abstract art. Guided by Vincent van Gogh's words, "One must work and dare if one really wants to live," I'm excited to explore this new chapter of my artistic journey.

Artist statement

Abstract painting is my creative haven, a place where I embrace the beauty of imperfection. 

While I typically work with acrylics and earthy tones, I also enjoy experimenting with vibrant colors occasionally. These bursts of vibrant hues add energy and create emotions that complement the serene earthy palette, creating a balanced visual experience. Lance Wallnau's quote, "Every day is a fresh canvas. Paint something new," guides me to approach each day with renewed enthusiasm, drawing inspiration from my surroundings and expressing it uniquely through my art.
