Debbie Kay - Visual Artist
Debbie Kay quite literally fell into art after falling and suffering a severe concussion in 2012. She took acrylic paint lessons as part of the healing process and ended up discovering a new passion and purpose in life. A decade later and she still paints almost daily. Her work has been shown in many
galleries throughout SW Ontario and in 2018 she was voted Biz X artist of the year. Debbie has been an active member at Walkerville Artists Collective since early 2022 and is a proud member of the Arts Council of Windsor. Some of her influences include Frida Kahlo, Rothko, Jean-Michel Basquiat and 80's music.
